Dr. Sammarone is a Fellowship Trained, Triple Board-Certified Pain Physician, with over 20 years of Clinical Experience.
Prior to his present solo private practice which he founded in 2011, he spent 13 years at St. Barnabas Med. Center in Livingston, NJ. There he practiced Pain Management and Anesthesiology while also Teaching for the Residency Program.
In Italy, his native country, he graduated from Medical School at the top of his class of over 700 students: “110 e Lode”/Summa cum Laude.
He then came to the U.S. after serving for the Italian Army and completed 2 Residencies: Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology and then was chosen and completed a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management in New York.
His extensive experience and knowledge, combined with the use of cutting edge techniques and equipment, allows him to obtain the best possible results.
He performs a full range of minimally invasive procedures, including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, endoscopic facet denervation, percutaneous disc decompression, sympathetic blocks, PRP (Platelets Rich Plasma) injections, spinal stimulator, discograms, vertebroplasty, trigger point injections and joint injections.
